Presentitis Self-Assessment
|
How common is presentitis? Recent studies have shown that presentitis often goes undiagnosed, and may affect as many as 26,000,000 PowerPoint users in the United States alone. One thing is certain, the prevalence of this disorder has increased dramatically due to the rapid spread of presentation technology over the last 25 years. Learn more about this interesting research here.
Confirmed Disease Vector: Louie Lostem Findings suggest that some strains of presentitis are highly contagious and that a person can actively spread the presentitis contagion without even being aware that they are a carrier. For instance, there is the case of Louie Lostem, the summer intern who remains blissfully unaware of the importance of the presentation file that was entrusted to him. The file the team desperately needs to make a major deadline. The file that is on a thumb drive, in the left front pocket of his favorite skinny jeans, at his dry cleaners, 20 miles from the office. At least Louie’s pretty sure that’s exactly where it is. Louie is currently requesting that everyone “just chill for a minute” while he tries to remember where else it might be.
There are many other similar cases that also show just how pervasive this problem can be. For instance: Sly D’Stroyer, Vickie Versions, Sally Sharer, and Harry Hermit.
